Gears are arguably one of the most important aspects to the Hagley Museum. It is because of gears that the infamous Hagley gun powder yards were able to operate, therefore launching one of the longest standing American enterprises in US history.

Color Palette Inspiration

By studying the Hagley Museum’s current website, I was able to define my project goals to appeal to a wider audience and improve user experience.

These goals included creating a consistent style and system that is easy to navigate, integrating type with photography, and incorporating visual nuances inspired by colors, textures, and symbolism found around the property
